Banjo-Kazooie
Banjo-Kazooie's first two boxes feature differences in their box designs, including minor design differences for the Rumble Pak logo. The first box has the Rumble Pak logo facing to the right and reversed flaps. Meanwhile, the second box has the Rumble Pak logo facing to the left and has corrected flaps. Banjo-Kazooie also displays USA code changes on the box, cartridges and manuals based on release. There is also a Players Choice release.

The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask
The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask has some interesting variants, including several special editions. Those who purchased a pre-order of the game received a special Collector's Edition box that included a cartridge with a lenticular label. Majora's Mask also had a non-Collector's Edition release that included a cartridge with a standard label. In addition to these box and cartridge variants, Majora's Mask also has USA code changes to the manuals.
Majora's Mask has two game specific insert variants: a Nintendo Power offer and a manual correction card. Both of these inserts can be found in the two box variants for Majora's Mask, but the manual correction can only be paired with the U/USA manual, not the U/USA-1 manual.

The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time
The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time's release was highly anticipated by fans. Nintendo recognized this, so the company developed a special Collector's Edition release alongside their standard release of the game. The Collector's Edition of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time features a shiny cover plate attached to the front of the game's standard box. It was packaged with a gold-shelled cartridge.
Meanwhile, The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time's standard release was packaged with a grey-shelled cartridge. Ocarina of Time proved to be an immensely popular game, so it received a Player's Choice release as well.

Mario Kart 64
Mario Kart 64 features many of the standard variant types for the Nintendo 64. These include country of production changes, the addition — and later, changes — to ESRB ratings, USA code revisions and multiple Player's Choice re-releases. There are USA code revisions on both the first and second-print boxes, but it remains unclear why this change occurred in between releases.
