This sale came after a sealed first production copy of The Legend of Zelda sold for $288,000 in February 2024, which had doubled the $120,000 realized by the first game graded by CGC Video Games (another sealed copy of The Legend of Zelda) in 2023! In the same May 2025 sale, a Pokémon Blue Version graded CGC 9.8 A++ realized $106,250 to become the highest price realized for a CGC-certified example of the game on Heritage Auctions.
