This sale came after a sealed first production copy of The Legend of Zelda sold for $288,000 in February 2024, which had doubled the $120,000 realized by the first game graded by CGC Video Games (another sealed copy of The Legend of Zelda) in 2023! These sales results shows how the value of getting games certified by CGC.

In the same May 2025 sale, a Pokémon Blue Version graded CGC 9.8 A++ realized $106,250 to become the highest price realized for a CGC-certified example of the game on Heritage Auctions.
