Pokémon Silver Version Graded CGC 10 A++ Realizes $19,027 in Goldin Auction

Hi Ho Silver, indeed! A Pokémon Silver Version graded CGC 10 A++ realized more than $19,000 in a February Goldin sale, becoming the third highest-selling example on Goldin’s platform and the highest-selling CGC-certified example to sell at auction. It was just one of the many CGC-certified collectibles offered in Goldin’s 2026 Pokémon & TCG Auction, which ended on February 15, 2026.
The sealed Pokémon: Silver Version for the Nintendo Game Boy Color (2000) graded CGC 10 A++ (lot 34) realized $19,027 by the end of the sale. So far, it is the highest-selling CGC-certified example of Pokémon Silver to sell at auction. A grade of CGC 10 A++ is the pinnacle of CGC Video Games’ grading scale for sealed games — games that receive this high of a grade must have zero evidence of any manufacturing or handling defects and the seal must be an original seal with negligible handling. Since Pokémon Silver is nearly 26 years old, the previous owner of this CGC-certified copy must have kept it carefully preserved to be in such impressive condition.

Pokémon: Silver Version released alongside Pokémon: Gold Version in October 2000. The direct sequels to Pokémon: Red Version and Pokémon: Blue Version (or Pokémon: Green Version in Japan), Pokémon Gold and Silver introduced the second generation of Pokémon, adding 100 new Pokémon to the Pokédex while also bringing back familiar favorites. Along with Gold (and Pokémon: Crystal Version in 2001), Pokémon Silver is one of the best-selling games for the Game Boy Color console.
Several CGC-certified cards also realized impressive prices in the February Goldin auction, including $384,400 for a complete set of four No. 1-4 Trainers, Pokémon (2014) Pokémon World Championships promos, with the No. 3 Trainer graded CGC Pristine 10 and the others graded CGC Gem Mint 10 (lot 7).
