CGC Accepting Submissions at Portland Retro Gaming Expo

CGC® is thrilled to be accepting submissions of video games, comics, cards, and home video collectibles at the Portland Retro Gaming Expo, being held at the Oregon Convention Center in Portland, Oregon, on October 9-11, 2026.

About Portland Retro Gaming Expo

Portland Retro Gaming Expo is the Retro Gaming Expo, Inc.'s biggest event of the year, and we're ready to celebrate anything and everything to do with gaming! Join us for a packed schedule including celebrity meetups, gaming tournaments, selling, trading, and more. This year, make sure you stop by to get photo opportunities with the DeLorean Time Machine from Back to the Future and the original Neontendo car. We'll also have a kitten snuggle, a VHS swap, a pre-show presentation and trivia for Friday the 13th, and more!

Fans also won't want to miss lots of fun happening at the CGC booth all weekend long! Stop by the booth to submit, and you'll receive a CGC Video Games Gem Mint 10 pin from the ever-popular CGC Pin Giveaway rally. Stay tuned for email and social announcements leading up to the show.

Preparing submissions for the show

CGC will be accepting submissions of video games, comics, magazines, TCGs, sports cards, non-sports cards, and home video collectibles for authentication and grading.

Why wait in line with your submission? Submit your prepared collectibles through the Express Drop-off Service and quickly hand off your collectibles to a representative. Simply take the following steps before arriving:

1. Create a CGC account here. All it takes is a free account to submit, and paid members get additional discounts and benefits.
2. Go to the online submission form for video games, comics, cards, or home video.
3. Select "Mail-In" or "Show Drop-Off" to start your submission.
4. Complete the submission form and print the packing slips. Important: To ensure that your submission process stays on schedule, please place your collectibles in the order listed on the packing slip. Please bring BOTH copies of the packing slip with your collectibles to the show drop-off. Failure to do so will result in delays.
5. Keep your collectibles safe and secure until you drop off your submission (including the packing slip) with a representative.
6. Go to the Express Drop-off sign to finalize your submission.

All submissions will be transported to CGC's headquarters in Sarasota, Florida, for authentication, grading, and encapsulation.
