A sealed Secret of Mana graded by CGC Video Games™ has become the highest-selling example on Heritage Auctions’ platform after it blew away the competition in last week’s sale. It was just one of the many CGC-certified video games offered in Heritage’s Video Games Signature Auction, which ended on February 22, 2025.
The sealed Secret of Mana for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System (1993) graded CGC 9.8 A+ (lot 28044) realized $62,500, becoming the third highest-selling collectible in the auction and the highest-selling example of Secret of Mana on Heritage Auctions’ website. Secret of Mana is generally regarded as one of the greatest games ever made because of its excellent story, beautiful soundtrack and real-time battle mechanics.

Meanwhile, a sealed Transformers: Beast Wars Transmetals for the Nintendo 64 (2000) graded CGC 9.4 A++ (lot 28072) realized $37,500. This scarce N64 title was originally a Blockbuster exclusive, similar to Clay Fighter: Sculptor's Cut, a CGC-certified example of which realized $175,000 in a Heritage sale in 2024. Since Blockbuster exclusive titles were only meant to be rentals, they’re extremely difficult to find in sealed and in good condition.
