Mega Man X3 Smashes the Competition in Heritage's Complete in Box Sale
A complete in box Mega Man X3 graded by CGC Video Games™ blasted through the competition in a recent Heritage Auctions sale. The Super Nintendo Entertainment System classic was among over 45 CGC-certified video games in the Complete in Box Video Games Showcase Auction, which concluded on August 10, 2023.
The complete in box Mega Man X3 for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System (1996) is graded CGC 9.0 with CIB grades of 9.4 for Box, 9.2 for Cert and 8.0 for Manual (lot 79129). Mega Man X3 is the third installment of the Mega Man X series and is the first game in the series to feature Zero as a playable character. The story consists of eight stages in which X and Zero must take down Dr. Doppler, a Reploid scientist, and his Maverick followers. Mega Man X saw a limited release on the SNES and has since become a traditional rarity for the console. It realized $5,520, the highest price in the sale.
